08/09- During the course of the next few months I will be transitioning The MilesApart Band (MAB) and relegating the band to backing up and becoming One on One's rhythm section exclusively. What this means is MAB as you've known it will no longer be booked seperately outside of One on One with the traditional female lead vocalist some time after September.

Because of the success of One on One and the struggle to maintain MAB as a seperate act apart from One on One and the lack of other dynamic and quality factors, this is a necessary and marketable sound move.

Now with that said and do to some demands of the business, my fans, supporters, friends and business clients and associates, I will be creating and establishing another act to replace but not duplicate MAB in the past. The new look and act will be myself, Ron Ivory performing solo using some of the same personnel as MAB with some additions and changes to that fact. Also I will be building a stronger, more dynamic and sensuous playlists to perform with and keeping some of my favorites from the MAB.

My goal or desire is to have or add an additional keyboardist with the rhythm section, two female background vocalists and two piece horn section. I am excited about this and again the business and your input has brought me to this reinvention and transition. I am still working on a suitable name for the band and will reveal this and more information during the next few weeks.
